Once upon a time, there lived a family...

All stories about families start off rather lovely, do they not? Mine did, though in my personal experience, there was a cruel and evil stepfather. Not that I, or my siblings, knew he was not my real father at that time. I was my bitch mother's secret, back then. But, like so many stories, it all took a dark turn.

I am Niklaus Mikaelson. I rule New Orleans. I am here with my siblings, and I am not about to leave, not this time. This is our home, and our realm. So long as you behave yourself, and obey my rules, you are welcome to enjoy all that my city has to offer.

But...

Break my rules? Or...even more foolish...challenge me?

You will find out how one thousand years of betrayal, violence and family dysfunction can hone a man into a weapon that kills without mercy.
